01 - Positioning

Online advertising that is bought, not boosted

This is the digital marketing and paid side of the practice: search, social, display and video advertising planned, bought and reported by Strawberry Agency from Jounieh, for clients across Lebanon and the MENA region.

The distinction that matters is between boosting and buying. Boosting is pressing promote on a post that already exists and reading the likes afterwards. Buying is deciding who you need to reach, what you need them to do, what that action is worth, and then structuring campaigns, creative and budget to produce it at a cost you can live with. Almost every account that arrives here underperforming is boosting and calling it advertising.

We run the paid channels alongside the wider campaign, so the search copy, the social creative and the outdoor are arguing the same thing rather than three teams guessing at a brand.

“Social Media, SEO, and Google AdWords.”

  • SearchGoogle Search and Shopping, keyword and intent structure, landing-page alignment
  • SocialMeta, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn - paid, organic and the creative volume to feed them
  • DisplayProgrammatic and direct display, retargeting and sequential messaging
  • VideoYouTube and in-feed video, cut for the placement rather than re-used from broadcast
  • SEOTechnical health, on-page structure, content and local search visibility
  • ReportingCost per action against the objective, not a dashboard of impressions
02 - Scope

What the paid and organic programme covers

A

Paid search

Account structure, keyword and negative strategy, ad copy, extensions and bid management - with landing pages checked for intent match before spend starts.

B

Paid social

Audience construction, creative variants built for the placement, testing structure and budget pacing across Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn.

C

Search engine optimisation

Technical audit, information architecture, on-page work and the content that supports it. Local SEO where the business depends on a catchment.

D

Analytics and tracking

Conversion tracking that actually fires, event definitions agreed up front, and reporting tied to the commercial objective.

E

Creative for paid

Static, motion and video produced in-house at the volume paid channels consume - not one asset stretched across six placements.

F

Landing pages

Where the destination is the problem, we build it. See web design and development.

03 - Method

How a paid account is run

The objective comes with a number. Enquiries, registrations, bookings, sales - and what one is worth. Without that, “performance” has no definition and every report is a matter of opinion.

Tracking is proven before budget moves. A surprising share of underperforming accounts are actually mis-measured accounts. We confirm events fire correctly first; it is unglamorous and it changes the picture more often than any bid change.

Structure, then spend. Campaigns are separated so that results are attributable - by intent, by audience, by product line. Accounts built as one undifferentiated campaign cannot be optimised, only guessed at.

Then iterate on evidence. Creative and audiences are tested against each other with enough budget and time to be conclusive, and losers are cut. Reporting says what we changed, why, and what it did.

01

Audit and objective

Current account state, tracking integrity, wasted spend, and the commercial number the programme is aiming at.

02

Structure and setup

Campaign architecture, audiences, creative matrix and conversion tracking confirmed end to end.

03

Launch and test

Controlled rollout with enough budget per variant to read a result rather than noise.

04

Optimise and report

Weekly management, monthly reporting against cost per action, with recommendations rather than raw numbers.

04 - Proof

Where this has been applied

Conference

LEBTECH registration

Delegate and exhibitor acquisition for a three-day public-sector technology conference - paid search and social driving registrations against a fixed event date.

Congress

Financial Inclusion

Audience acquisition for a sector congress at the Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut, where the deadline is immovable and the audience is narrow and professional.

Public

Food Trucks Festival

Attendance-driven promotion for a public festival in Beirut - broad reach, geographically tight, measured on turnout.

Commercial

The roster

Ongoing paid and organic programmes across retail, hospitality, property, education and professional services. See the client roster.

Local

Keserwan and Jounieh

Local search and map visibility for businesses whose customers come from a catchment rather than the whole country.

Regional

MENA reach

Campaigns run beyond Lebanon into the Gulf where a client’s market sits there. Browse projects.

05 - Questions

Working with us

Is this different from your marketing and advertising service?

It is the paid-digital and search half of it. Marketing & advertising covers the whole campaign including broadcast, outdoor, press and creative direction. This page covers what is bought and optimised online. Most clients use both, run by the same team.

What budget do we need for paid media to be worth it?

It depends on the cost per action in your category and how many you need. The honest test is whether the budget can buy enough volume to learn from within a reasonable window - below that, you are paying for noise. We will tell you at the audit stage if the number does not support the objective.

How soon do results appear?

Paid search and social can produce measurable response inside the first fortnight, though the first weeks are partly buying information. SEO is slower by nature - technical fixes can move things within weeks, but content and authority work is measured in months, not days. Anyone promising otherwise is selling.

Do you take over an existing account or start fresh?

Usually we audit first and then decide. Accounts with clean history and working tracking are worth keeping for the learning. Accounts where tracking never fired correctly are often faster to rebuild than to repair - but that is a finding, not an assumption.

Who owns the accounts and the data?

You do. Ad accounts, analytics properties and tracking configurations stay in your ownership with us granted access. If the relationship ends, nothing has to be reconstructed.
